1. About these terms
Alba WorkWave is operated by Alba Appliance Group Inc., Ontario, Canada (“Alba,” “we,” or “us”). These terms govern use of the WorkWave application and its informational website.
WorkWave supports internal appliance-service work, including appointments, service records, case notes, photos, estimates, and invoices. Application access is intended for authorized Alba personnel and business partners. These terms do not replace any separate employment, contractor, customer, or appliance-service agreement.
2. Authorized access and account responsibilities
Use WorkWave only with Alba’s authorization and within the permissions assigned to you. Successful sign-in, including Google Sign-In where available, does not by itself authorize access to every record or function.
Keep your sign-in credentials confidential, protect devices used to access WorkWave, and do not let others use your account. Contact Alba promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or if your access should change because your role or business relationship has changed.
3. Acceptable use
Use WorkWave for legitimate, authorized business purposes and follow applicable law. Do not bypass access controls, impersonate another person, interfere with the application, upload malicious software, or access, copy, alter, or disclose records without authorization.
Do not use customer or colleague information for personal purposes, unrelated marketing, or any purpose outside your authorized work.
4. Service records and uploaded content
Enter information that is relevant to the service case and reasonably accurate, complete, and current. Upload photos, documents, and other content only when you are authorized to provide them. Avoid including personal information that is unnecessary for the work.
Report errors promptly and correct records only within your assigned permissions. Do not delete or alter records to conceal activity or avoid applicable retention obligations.
Uploading content does not authorize its use beyond the business purposes described in our Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.
5. Privacy and Google Sign-In
Our Privacy Policy explains how WorkWave handles account information, customer and service records, uploaded content, and technical information.
Where Google Sign-In is available, it is used to authenticate authorized users and support access to WorkWave. You can remove WorkWave from your Google Account’s third-party connections. Removing that connection does not automatically delete your WorkWave account or business records.
Contact Alba to request account closure or to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Requests are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.
6. Availability and access changes
WorkWave may be updated or temporarily unavailable during maintenance, technical failures, or security incidents. Contact Alba if an interruption affects your work.
We may restrict or suspend access when authorization ends, when needed to protect information or the application, or when these terms are breached. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about the restriction. Ending access does not automatically require deletion of records that must be retained.
7. Changes and applicable rights
We may update these terms as WorkWave changes. The current version and its effective date will appear on this page. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement.
These terms are governed by Ontario law and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or obligations that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
